Cool concept Jacquie! I'd have to agree with Kira on this one, I'm enjoying the original more. But I feel the original is a little bottom heavy. The digital texture you used in the 2nd version is too over powering. I want to see more of your beautiful print. I love when you use digital media to merely compliment your prints. Maybe all you need is a few more arrows (which I really like btw), and some punchy colours?
