So I guess I'm the first with my sketch up! This is Charlie Sheen if you haven't guessed with the whole "winning!" banner. His face is supposed to be the "tongue" emoticon expression. Anywho, he used to play baseball in the past and starred in 2 baseball movies also, so baseball is still related to Charlie even if it's not in the current moment. I thought it totally works with his "winning!" phrase - relating it to a game and putting him on his own team "team Sheen". There it is!

ReplyDeleteI mentioned the shape of his face to you earlier, I think you can sharpen the jaw line a bit and give him a more rectangular shape head.
As for composition, it feels a little bottom heavy. Maybe if Sheen had some loose change/bills falling from his pockets, or have a few of the bras/panties flying out of the girls hands and towards Sheen, or have a bra hanging off the front end of the rocket, that might balance out the top and bottom half of the image? I know once you start sculpting/shooting you can perfect little things, but it might be cool to show a relationship between the main subject and the background.

ReplyDeleteI think that since this is not only about Charlie Sheen but about the ":P" you may want to exaggerate his expression a bit. I agree with Sam that the composition is a bit bottom heavy, Perhaps less spectators? Or maybe more simple smaller ones? You might get away with just keeping the hands/arms and the ladies panties. I don't think you need to see their faces to know they are women.
Can't wait to see what it looks like when it's done!

ReplyDeleteIt's crazy ambitious to sculpt all those arms as well as a stadium of fans. Can't wait to see how you solve it. I would be amazing if you could incorporate a team mascot or something funny. OR SOMETHING WITH TIGERS BLOOD!
