You're DEAD to Me

 

'Day of the Dead' cover illustration. You can't really do 'Day of the Dead' without using decorative sugar skulls. I did a couple bound by rope (just like marriage in a way). The wife in this scenario is the "boss" holding a knife.

Mictecacihuatl - Sketch

This is my sketch for October, she is the Aztec Goddess of Death. Her role is to keep watch over the bones of the dead. This was really fun to sketch. She's a bit tight in that narrow composition, so I might scale her down.
